View AttachmentHow did Norrie handle the pressure? Well, he shot an eight so decide for yourself. That leaves him and Erni tied in the top spot meaning we need some sort of decider - suggestions on a postcard please although I vote for... Wow, amazing. Well done to Norrie and Ernie. Seems a shame one will have to lose - and honourable tie will be the most gentlemanly.

How is Bri doing in the PCP comp, it's his to lose by the looks of things. Average of 9.75 per round and needs to only score a total of another 8 in the next two rounds. Barring total rifle/scope failure or personal meltdown, it's in the bag - even I'd put a small wager on him winning.

Bri / Who? Thank you.
The competition was good fun and definitely worthwhile repeating (in the same manner or with other elements incorporated).

Unless anyone has a last minute surge of activity on Wednesday, here's the final Springer table - Congratulations Norrie and well done to everyone who took part with special thanks to Erni for setting out the targets each week. "The competition was good fun and definitely worthwhile repeating (in the same manner or with other elements incorporated)." Let's do it again next year then - I'm certainly keen to improve upon my woeful showing. I'll also lobby T' Committee for some more suitable spinners (taller to clear the grass and single rather than the double spinners we've been using) and I'm happy to hear ideas for any changes to the format.

As for the PCP comp, well, that's not a done deal yet and I'd urge Bill, Callum and Ken to get their remaining rounds in if they fancy lifting a medal.

Yes I’ll agree with that Bri and hopefully the committee will agree to your request for new spinners for the completion.

Yes I’ll agree with that Bri and hopefully the committee will agree to your request for new spinners for the completion. You make it sound like the committee are ogres. In the last year the Club has bought, on my request, a ladder, some knockdown targets and paint. They have funded two open days, agreed a toilet and probably more that I'm not aware of (not to mention, in recent times, the purchase of three rifle combinations). I've found, ask for something that benefits the Club's members and it gets approved. Despite how useful it would be, the fact is crystal balls don't work, you have to ask.
