Three shooters with PCPs this week (Bri, Erni and Ken) with a 28/30 between them - excellent!

Just Jim picking up a Springer this week. His 6/10 lifts him from the foot of the table, leaving Club Sec. Nick as Tail End Charlie of the (so far) competing shooters.

Jim continues his climb up the table, Malcolm bags a 5 and Nick H shot an 8 which seems the norm for anyone with that name.

Has my compliment of his shooting and invitation to give HFT at Waulkmill a go been too much pressure for Malcolm?

A few of the usual suspects were at Denwood last night but I was the only one to send some official shots downrange. At least it makes updating the table easy.

Finally - Bill gets a 10/10! About b****y time too. Nick K joined in the fun this week. With the AA S410, he opened his campaign with a wholesome six. He hasn't been shooting for as long as some of the old hands so that's a good start although it remains to be seen if he'll be outshot by Catherine and Alexander. And, over in The Realm Of The Spring, Malcolm continues to be predictably unpredictable with a five while Nick H is consistently consistent with yet another eight. And a reminder that there's still time to enter and join in the craic - it adds an extra spice to an evening on the 50m range while still remaining quite lighthearted.

Erni put in a nine this week and is the first to shoot all 10 rounds in the PCP side of things. 85 is the score to beat so get to it folks.

Just little ol' me shooting a springer this week. Three measly hits. I don't want to talk about it.

Callum racked up a seven in the PCP comp. That puts him level with Ken. A bit more activity with the Old School guns as Erni started his Springer campaign with a sturdy nine, Jim rattled in a respectable seven and Malcolm shot his 10th round with an upbeat eight. And here's notice that there's been a tweak of the rules - you can now shoot two comp rounds at a time if you like. It's not compulsory as you can still only shoot one round if you prefer but you have the choice.

There's more of interest in the Springer comp with Jim making inroads towards Malcolm's top spot - a seven and eight takes him nearer to pole position. Erni continues scoring highly with a nine. Almost on par with Norrie average-wise and definite contenders the pair of them.

None of that PCP malarkey with only The Sultans of Spring competing this week. Jim has his eye on the top spot, Erni sticks in a solid couple of rounds and jumps up the table, Nick H continues with the eights (is he doing this on purpose? Is Nicky Eights his Mafia nickname?) and Norrie... Awww Norrie - what went wrong? A six is well off your normal pace.
