As for punching really neat holes, you need decent velocity (400fps minimum) and quality card targets. As we're not piling pellet on pellet in a single target, A4 printer paper backed up with an old cornflakes packet should be enough for accurate scoring.

Howdy folks.
The 2021 Competitions are nearly ready to start. We've made a few changes to last year's format - nice new targets (designed by Who? and tested by Stoof) and a monthly format - to keep things interesting. There's also a new Forum Board with categories specifically for each class to help keep track of things so your Webmaster will have no excuse for mucking things up.
Three classes so far - Rifle, Target Pistol and Open Pistol. The Rifle competition is open to any rifle with any sights, the Target Pistol is open sights and one-handed while the Open Pistol is anything goes - whatever sights and grip/stance takes your fancy.
All classes are 0.177 only just to keep a level playing field and the range is as near as you can get to 6 yards.
Get shooting and let's see those entries.
