Put some felt around a new gunsafe I keep in the van to stop the door rattling when I’m on my way to my permissions. Also just received a new .22 mag for my daystate airwolf.

I got bored and ordered upgrade parts for the bb gun I use in my other hobby of running around playing toy soldiers like a giant manchild. Should be able to get almost three hundred and eighty FPS from it

I got an air soft from Bri some time ago Stoof. Good fun, but not used it since getting my Lab in case she picks up the plastic bb’s.
Shot the Sem’ouch’vente. Not to bad - I was aiming off the card!
Waxed my old granny, looks good. Still plucking up courage to fit the peep sight, although, with the help of ‘Mr granny’ himself, a cunning plan has been devised.
Got all the electronic components for the reactive benchrest target, started to build/test. Also steel arrived so can start cutting and welding.
Shot the HW30S. Pondering a comb raiser on the HW30SF.
All that and earned good brownie points with my mum - always a good move.

Shooting HW75 at 6m Shooting HW30s at 8m Cutting and sanding a bit of walnut to mount a Parker Hale peepsight (PH7) to the HW30s stock. The Williams peepsight I modified is ok, but adjustment is imprecise and a pain to get right - but then it's zero'd (as well as my eyesight can do) at 6m, 8m, and 26.5yards, I can't figure that one out; think I need a session on Chairgun.

Checked the piston seal in my HW75 as it doesn’t have sufficient power to punch clean holes in the targets. I didn’t know they had a felt washer as well as the o-ring on the piston. Super simple and quick to dismantle, just two grub screws and one pin.
After a bit of googling it seems the 414fps average is about what to expect anyway.
Shot another ‘open pistol’ card. After scoring it 17, I convinced myself it was a 16 - that’s the problem with the HW75 not punching neat holes.

Averaging 414fps doesn't seem too bad - the HW75s always felt a bit slower than that to me.
Haven't got my chrono notes to hand but I'd say that's a good bit faster than an HW40.
And there's a thing. I always used to think of an airgun's output in terms of ft/lbs but now I focus more on the velocity.

Surely one of golden moments- HW30S, 5 shots, standing unsupported at 8m

Shooting 12mm spinners with the HW30S from 8m standings unsupported.
Cleared all six twice now. 14% harder than keeping the pellet inside the circle drawn round a 10p piece, but looks harder; 12mm vs 24.5mm. Scrub that, the spinners are 15mm, so same level of difficulty - arse!
Got the electronics working for the reactive benchrest target. The vibration sensor is maybe too sensitive, so ordered up two different less sensitivity versions. Just waiting on steel and new vibration sensors before I can test.

Sounds interesting.
And, as per what has become normal, absolutely no hands-on shooting for me.
I've taken to perusing eGun and looking at the many desirable target rifles and pistols there.
No real intention to buy but it's nice to window shop.

No real intention to buy but it's nice to window shop. You need to get the guns out, you’ll become a sad git otherwise. I’m going the other way in guns, looking to reduce the pistols by 4 and the rifles by 1 (maybe 3) and the scopes by 7

Don't you mean an even sadder git?
If you're shedding pistols I'd be interested in your Webley Junior...

It took a while, but got round to answering Bri's post. After moving a few pistols in the cabinet I got to the Webley Junior, thought I'd give it some maintenance - one oily rag wipe later it was ready to be shot. Smooth trigger, soft shooting action, 3" group at 6m and that indefinable 'something' about shooting a gun from a bygone age. Long and short of it... I'm going to keep it, sorry Bri.
HW30S time: I was disinterested, maybe even dismissive of springers, but this little gun with about 6.5fpe has opened up a new world of air rifle enjoyment for me. The postal comp and the ongoing battle with Alex has seen me improve my ability to shoot springers and shoot standing unsupported. More paper punching at 6m and shooting plastic milk bottle tops at 20yds'ish.
Mk4is: shooting at holes again, yet to shoot through all ten in one sequence though - two or three of those small holes trip me up each time
HW75 with red dot: Improving, but brutally frustrating.
Mechanical/electronic hybrid benchrest target: just needs painting and assembling now. I'll post the results on youtube for you all to marvel (laugh) at. Thinking about modifying a resettable HFT target with the electronics.
Haven't shoot the mini-HFT course in the garden for a while, will need to get the petrol strimmer out before that happens.

Turned down a quirky Tell 2 pistol a month or two back and now this - looks like I'm going to get through 2020 without acquiring any new (to me) guns. Most likely a good thing as I can't shoot the ones I've got anyway. Certainly not accurately, that's for sure!

I had to search a Tell 2, yep the cocking/locking action is convoluted design.
