It's been a while since I shot California; distracted by the Granny. But last night I had California out at my 25yd benchrest range, it is an impressively capable rifle. I caught myself thinking "as long as I point it in the right direction, I can trust this gun to hit anything". I have a steel plate with 25 11mm holes in it, I know if the pellet passes through the holes without touching, it will score a '10' on a benchrest paper target. After 2 rounds I decided to focus on smaller targets, little flecks of paint or rust or other bits. I subscribe to the philosophy "aim small, miss small" and conversely "aim big, miss big", must be that I concentrate more when the target is small. Anyway, I spent a very pleasant hour or so shooting and being impressed by California.
Think I'll try LSP tonight. You know, just to see if it's California, or if shooting Granny has improved my technique. After tonight I'm going back to some serious time and practise with California.

I'm not as good with LSP as I am with California.
Anyone want to buy a Weihrauch HW110?
