At the last GARC Committee meeting, it was agreed a Benchrest evening could run on one of the Denwood indoor 25yd lanes. This will happen on the last Wednesday of each month, starting 24th April.
Anyone is encouraged to have a go. So bring along a suitable rifle and see if you can thread a pellet through a small hole. I’m going to bring a few official UKBR22 targets with me, so you can see what you can score.
Car availability and traffic permitting I plan to be there about 6pm to set up the bench, rest and target.

I'll have a go at that but, unfortunately, not tonight.

I'll have a go at it to. It is a nice addition to the 50M Comp and the ping-pong ball funshoot and shows the divers "disciplines". The only thing I have still have to do is get my A.s to Waulkmill.

A few people had a go and seemed to enjoy it, especially when the spinner behind the 8mm holes spun around.
The 'plate of holes' couldn't be found in the workshop of the GARC cupboard - probably looking with my eyes closed - does anyone know of its whereabouts?
One potential new member was very enthusiastic, saying he was going to join and had plans to make a similar target for his own use.
Next formal Benchrest night is 30th May, but there is nothing stopping anybody from using the 'plate of holes' (if it is found) at any time.
