Hi Guys ( and guyesses ) Two dates for our usual UKAHFT shoots have been arranged for 19th May and 25th August. These shoots attract HFT shooters from all over Scotland and sometimes beyond.
In all fairness we produce new courses for these events, this does three things:- ! ensures that Grampian shooters do not have an advantage, having shot the course prior to the competition. 2 Gives Grampian shooters fresh and different courses for the next year. 3 prevents the firing line biting into the trees if left for long periods
These resets are usually done by the same old suspects, we would welcome helpers, the advantage of this to you is you will learn the complexities of course setting, enabling you to know what kill sizes are allowed at what distances, what range traps can be employed and how, and generally how a course is laid out. All this will improve your shooting ability
