I'm so thankful we can't see pictures 3 & 4 in that series.

I should add that this is a staged photo, with all weapons being unloaded at the time and safe. Just in case some of you think you may have caught me out. Paul had already killed the target and I was only trying to stop his recoil??? then I remembered that he shoots a PCP, hence black footwear and not brown.
Yes a good shoot indeed, me with my WH97 springer in .22 up against two super guns in .177, shame for the super guns, as supermen were not shooting them this Sunday as they were both beaten by the springer, by 7 knock downs. It was windy and wet in areas of the top course and the Swamp of Doom lived up to its name.
Paul got shot of the match when he managed to knock down the little bird out in the valley of doom at 45 yrds, this was an incredible shot as the wind was strong and the firing point was flooded and had to be taken in the standing position. However he managed to knock it down. Well done Paul, best shot I've seen in a long time. As for Andy, well he is not use to shooting with wind adjustment's yet. But with the help of some of our junior members , this ex army chap should improve nicely and maybe get to become a cadet in the years to come. An enjoyable day with lots of Banter and some interservice rivalry.
Merry Christmas to everyone including any ex Army or Royal Navy members of our club.

Sad that I missed this. Chris is a bit of a demon with that 97.
A belated “merry christmas” and a premature “happy new year”.
