youtu.be/wNsqNJF4oJQ?feature=sharedLooks like fun - anyone fancy giving this a try at Denwood next spring/summer? Huge targets, close range, any calibre or sight, pellet, BB or airsoft.

I have a memory of a ban on steel bb. Is that memory correct anyone? How about frangible bb?
Maybe airsoft, which using plastic bb - (biodegradable, so we don’t leave Denwood looking like a hailstone storm had just blown through).

To the best of my knowledge, steel BBs are allowed on the 50m range where I thought this activity would take place. I've read reports of frangible BBs. Apart from them breaking and jamming inside guns and being generally useless, they're apparently brilliant. Copper coated lead BB also exists and are reportedly less prone to ricochet than steel but I've never tried them. In any case, safety specs would be a good idea. Got a few CO2 repeaters that'd (hopefully) be good for this. Prime choice is the red dotted Tangfolio Gold Custom which is a pretty fast shooter. I (and maybe a few others among us) would feel a bit silly wearing a holster for fast draws so we could level the playing field by starting with the pistol on a table in front of us, picking it up then shooting. Might need a bit of experimentation though. Plenty of time until the Spring to sort things out.

I’ve got a bad feeling: steel BB and steel target at close range.
Anyone else remember when we got a few pellets bouncing back to the firing point from the 10m target vertical back boards.
So others can use the 50m range, will the IPAS will be shot from the normal 50m shooting points?

It'd be no hardship to set this up down the far end of the 50m range.
