 A very underwhelmy 67 & 76 for myself this week and a better 78 for Russ. As we hurtle towards the end of this comp (15/11/23,) it's a mad scramble to get all the rounds in so, Pistoleros, the reins are off - shoot as many rounds as you like/can in the remaining evenings. |

Interesting video - it'll help up to a point but it doesn't take a structured enhanced intercept function with a non-linear waveform bias into account.

Pellets travelling at the speed of light (C) shouldn't have too much of 'drop' over ten yards. Hmm, even the lightest .177 pellet (5gr) at C have about 10,758,172,735,434fpe - enough for the air pistol to be a prohibited weapon and earn you a stay at His Majesty's pleasure - if you survive the arrest! Hmm, I'd like to hear about the police power testing that pistol. A 6,000,000m long cat??? What mind bending substance is the YT guy on? |

These things can be difficult when you sometimes don't know what day (or month) it is although a more plausible explanation is a poorly applied interpretation of Jean's Time Dilation equation where I forgot to factor in the Holztmann Constant in relation to the Chroniton variance. |

That means I'm going to have to cram in four rounds on the night of the AGM.

 Looks like Jean can't handle the pressure of shooting more than one round at a time because his scores for three rounds this week fell to better than everyone else from miles better than everyone else. Russ also put in his Round 10 score and is sitting in second place with a shout at some silverware although I'm hoping to get my last four rounds in on the 15th and challenge him on that. Steve and Stef, what say you? |

Yep, did happen. Four rounds to shoot before the AGM and, although they weren't among my best, I somehow managed to outscore Russ by a single, solitary, point for 2nd place. He took it like a man with a smile and a handshake.  Jean 1st, Bri 2nd Russ 3rd. Never a highly subscribed comp, the whole point of the venture is to make ourselves better shots and provide a bit of banter and camaraderie along the way. That's certainly been the case although Jean was the only one who showed any improvement scoreswise. However, with the possibility of Jean and Russ relocating out of the area, the Pistol League's existence is in doubt. With two of the keenest shooters gone and Steve and Stef's sporadic attendance, there's the distinct possibility that I'd be the only serious entrant. Time will tell but there's not much point in going ahead although I'd stand a good chance of getting the gold. |
