While the Hawke Chairgun Pro app is no longer supported it still works well.
I've tried other apps - Strelok, Rapier (by MTC). An internet search identifies more, but I don't have experience of them.
A few observations about Chairgun Pro: 1. it is no substitute for setting cards out at various distances on a still day. 2. the holdover table values are somewhere close, but you need to calibrate the results - I do this by shooting cards and then tweaking the inputs to Chairgun to get it's outputs to match the cards 4. some inputs make a proportionately big change to the holdover, while others don't. It is best to play around with the inputs so you get a feel for the app and the effect of each input. 3. there are PC, Mac, android and Apple versions. I use the PC version to create the holdovers that I then write on a business card and use (I don't carry a phone or iPad with me while I shoot).

My phone actually won't download the app from playstore comes up with a message that my version of android won't work and closes. Did a big upgrade a month ago think it has put it on the latest version

The Play Store didn't let me install Chairgun on my phone either. I settled for Mero for the simple reason it seems to be specifically developed for air rifle shooting.

Jeez, resurrected after 4 months. I'd forgotten I'd even posted.
Stuart, one of the best HFT shooters, likes the MTC Rapier Ballistic app
