A quick question does the AWL get posted from Perth I really hope so or else I may have a speeding ticket waiting for me at the local post office from my trip down to the Birmingham shooting show.

Mine came from Glasgow and Pamela's came from Inverness so I see no reason why it couldn't come from Perth,Dundee,Wick or anywhere else police Scotland might be hiding out.
How was the shooting show.Was it worth the car parking fee?

Fingers crossed I dont have a speeding ticket awaiting my collection tomorrow. The show was very good (parking was free). I spent time with several stands window shopping what set up I was going to go for, for HFT they were all very helpful, had a plink on the ranges with a couple of the rifles I am looking at and the scope. So for the price limit I have set I am going for the HW 110ST with the Hawke Airmax 30 SF compact 3-12 x 40 (got this off Fleabay for £100) got my airtanks from Ross from the club with a gun rest and cleaning kit. So now just need to wait for AWL and can order the HW110. You really could spend some serious cash at the show if you had the wallet Chris would love it down there as there were quite a few very old looking BSA springers as old if not older than his. |
