The Forum Hosting Service has informed me that it is part of the Terms and Conditions that all Airgun related forums must have a dedicated thread for the slagging off of Daystate Air Rifles.
This is a legal requirement and is unavoidable.
Although not strictly limited to this thread, please try and focus any abuse of these Airguns here.

Never ever had one but, some say that the action block is formed using explosives to mold powdered unicorn horn, I couldn`t afford a service at Daystate never mind buying a gun, however Chris Malcolm has a Harrier so maybe I could get a sneaky lick of the block, see if it tastes of Unicorn, and yes, I do know what Unicorn tastes of, Iv`e had unicorn flavored crisps

I have heard that. I also believe that the stocks are made from minced and reconstituted My Little Ponies.
Maybe Chris can confirm this.

Daystate rifles - 60% of the time, they work every time! Is that the official Daystate Quality Control standard?

Anyone wanting to get rid of these hated rifles? Out of the generosity of my heart I'll give you 10% of their new MRP.

I did have a crafty lick of Chris`s Daystate Harrier an can tell you all that it tastes of 3 in 1 oil, this revelation didn`t stop Chris getting joint first in .22 at our recent UKAHFT competition in horrific conditions, I have been less wet on a 30 meter clam dive!

Maybe Chris won BECAUSE you licked his rifle...

I am willing (for a small fee) to lick rifles to enhance scores if you think that works. Please note that I prefer the taste of Napier gun oil to 3 in 1

I witnessed Paul lick Chris's Daystate and Chris M then produce the best score he has had to date in .22 shoot off with myself and Paul Shepard, beating us fair and square. I just hope that Chris does not get Paul to lick any other weapons that he has or can hold in his hands...….ANY?

I do roll my eyes every time a limited edition Daystate is launched, always at extortionate cost and yet the magazines still review them. This despite the slight issue most of them will be covetted and admired (and likely bragged about), but rarely used.
My first PCP was a Daystate Huntsman (Mk3?) in a B&M bullpup stock. Beautiful and originally bought for FT but sadly rarely used (I was always working), eventually I sold it in favour of a budget .22" hunting PCP.
