(morning all)
My friend Davie is repairing an FX Verminator, he's got it shooting straight but the magazine indexing arm isn't working / he's not sure if it's bent?
Any help would be appreciated. Cheers. Russ

Good evening chaps. Thanks for your replies to my queries regarding the sick Verminator. The rifle in question had several issues but has now been restored back to its original working condition. On receiving the rifle a MK1 FX Verminator it was spitting out pellets like an open choked shotgun, all shots were striking low and the magazine was only idexing on the odd occasion. New barrel seals tightened up the groups but POI would shift after a few shots. A different scope was fitted and things settled down. It was now printing very respectable groups . As expected the indexing arm was bent at the wrong angle which was duly corrected. It can now be repatriated with its owner. A familiarisation with firearms day will be dedicated to those unfamiliar with shooting sports and are keen to have a go as well as more experienced shooters looking to gain expierience with shotguns, rimfire rifles and centrefire rifles . The course will cover the safe handling of firearms, basic internal and external balistics amongst other things, then on to the range for shot gunning techniques, rifle shooting with a selection of airgun, rimfire and centrefire rifles to try out. A more advanced rifle day will follow as will rifle cartrige reloading evenings. Tonight Ythan field sports is holding a night vision familiarisation evening where IR and thermal optics will be available to try out. One of the UKs leading experts on dark side gadgets is there to give advice and answer questions . This will be held again in the near future so please get in touch if you are interested in any of these training days. Hope to pop up to Waulkmill some sunday for a chat an see how the club is getting on.
