Been too quiet on here recently. Let’s each put one new post up, hopefully we’ll get at least one thread going.
Last Sunday Alex (‘ole foggy eyes) was asking about pistols. If his enthusiasm continues he’ll be competing in the pistol comp this year.
What a difference a scope can make. A few of you will have been bored feaces-less with my moaning about a rifle I wasn’t getting on with and that I as going to sell it... well instead of doing that and putting money in the bank, I went a bought a new scope (only to find last night that Bill was selling his Sidewinder). But what a difference, from ‘grumpy old man’ to happiness. So, what is your ‘ideal’ scope and what POS have you had? For me #1 SWFA 12x42, #2 Airmax, #3 Sightron 10x42, POS 36x42 - mag to much.
Anything else, erm, the evenings are getting lighter!

Yes, the evenings are getting lighter and my martinis are getting drier.
Just bought a bottle of Dolin vermouth. Had to order it from Amazon because you can't get anything in the provincial hick town that is Aberdeen.

I’ve heard of Zedonks, Ligers and Tigons. But could B-T-H’s obvious affection of little bunnies lead to an, as yet, unknown hybrid.
I recall a rumour that Kermit had a whiff of pork about him; will B-T-H have a hint of eau de Watership Down (or spruce)?

And did he take the fairy/pointy star off the top of the tree first?

It can now be confirmed that Bob the Hare has been admitted to Hospital for surgery to remove a Christmas tree from an unusual part of his body as reported by that no good gossip and rumour agent for the hand cannon clubbers of GARC, AKA two of two of team borg. It is believed that Mr. Hare is in some discomfort and pain, this would account for the lack of reported sightings and posts from him over the last few weeks. Which have caused the Godmother of Waulkmill to patrol the Waulkmill shooting grounds in a hope of seeing our furry friend. She loves him really! paulthengine has also assisted in the search for Bob, butt (maybe not the right word to use, sorry Bob) paulthengine has been continuing his new friendship with the Waulkmill donkey, now called Martini as she is "any time, any place, anywhere", and so is paulthengine by the looks of it too.
Speaking from Bobs hutch side, Fanny who is Bobs wife of some 10 years, has released a statement informing all that care ? that Bob had an accident while working part time as the Christmas tree top ornament for the Lord Mayor of Waulkmill (Sir George) when hosting Christmas & New Year parties held in the club house last month. The accident was caused by someone playing pin the tail on the donkey and grabbed the tree to support their shaking hands when positioned behind Martini, causing Bob to lose his grip and slide further down the tree, impaling himself in an uncomfortable manner with the ever green. The RSPCA are looking into the identity of a donkey loving person with wobbly hands.
We wait for a statement from Bob the Hare to inform us of his condition, or has the cat got his tongue on this embarrassing matter?

I kept the 10x Sightron. Had leup mk4 that was very good for hunting but no use for hft, same with the bushnell 6500 which had way too much eye relief for an air rifle and didn't work with NV,sightron was good but fixed mag let it down. It's all down to how your eyes work(and what you're using them for).Different scopes for different eyes
PS. Vortex and Bushnell have customer service that's 2nd to none.
