Good morning playmates,
I want to send an air rifle down to England.
Do I need to do it via a registered dealer ?
Anybody suggest a source of cardboard to package said rifle.
How do I take it down from the for sale site?
regards
George

Hi George.
Ooh, difficult one.
RFD transfer is, I believe, the safest option but also the most expensive.
ParcelForce48 is much cheaper but, if something goes wrong, you're only covered for a small amount (£100, I think) even if you take out additional insurance.
You pays your money and takes your choice.
As for taking the gun off the For Sale page, I'll do that.

Lol, yeah I'm a member. Andy the pest controller. Thought 2 n 2 would have been put together, but can't fault the approach to security.
Heading to Waulkmill to see if I can terrify some tin chickens

Trouble is, posting as a guest means that other people/ne'er do wells can hijack your name and write anything with it being credited to you.
Things like -
Daystates are really good. FX guns never break down. Weihrauch quality control is the best in the world. Waulkmill shooters are people of distinction and refinement.
And other assorted statements of variable truth or worse.
See the problem?
Welcome to the forum Andy and I look forward to your posts but, for the sake of security, please sign up properly.
Bri M.

Passwords. You need a lot of them these days. Personally, I use "1 2 3 4" for everything. It's so stupid and obvious that no one would ever think of trying it. A popular former US president reportedly used it for the nuclear launch codes and we're still around so it must be secure. Andy, as for your particular password woes, try this on the log in screen - Hope this helps.

Waulkmill shooters are people of distinction and refinement.
To true Bri, and because of this kind comment made by yourself, to those of us who are able to shoot outdoors and in any Scottish weather. We will pull a few targets back, to within your 10 yard range scale, and hopefully you will be able to get a knock down on your next visit.
