Good start! The secret is to keep them smooth and sweet shooting - more power is unnecessary. Looking forward to fondling your granny on Wednesday. Ooh matron... In best Steptoe style “You dirty old man” ... finest kind. Yes, a clean and re-grease is needed as the piston and spring are dry. Chris has advised to wait until I have a new piston seal before pulling it apart. Question to Chris and Bri - Knibbs website has a piston seal, but it says for ‘post’ 1930, or a piston seal assembly (seal, washer and screw) ‘fits older BSA underlever rifles’, I can’t see a difference in the seal, which have you bought in the past?

That will get better! you need to service it with a bit of grease here and there, you did much better than that yesterday at the longer range targets. As I said at Waulkmill "I am impressed with your beasty, lovely trigger" shoots very good indeed and together you both did fantastic in the open sights round. So would put your group down to over excitement after yesterdays triumph at Waulkmill.
I think the S seal is a bit bigger that D's but you can get them from Chambers and of course, Proteck. I have a few for the S should you have problems. Don't let Bri fondle your granny when he is wearing his Pistol shooting glasses, that would really be a Cosmo Smallpiece moment.
