Gentlemen, what should I read to help me start my new HFT and rifle target shooting career on the right foot?
Would you know of a day-to-day detailed traing program? Thanks!

I would start off by using both feet at first, trick shots can come later once you have mastered standing on your own two feet.

Here's a handy place to start. Then lots of practice
If you intend doing HFT then don't be afraid to go to competitions. Most of them start around March time and can be found most Sundays somewhere

Try this one - Setting out to make you a good 90/100 shooter, it's written in a chatty style and is much more accessible than some of the dense and weighty tomes written by humourless androids who believe that you'll spend every waking moment dedicated to getting on the Olympic Squad. Although it's a bit of a self published effort and would've benefited from some proof reading, there's good, useful info in this book and, as long as you do your bit, will make you a better standing shot.

Because we've no experienced 10m shooters in our ranks to learn from, I gave this book a try and it's already made a huge difference to my shooting.

It's anything but easy - took months before I could reliably get all my shots in the black!
10m is certainly not for everyone.

Picture books, you have got to love them. Didn't know that Janet and John where into Air gunning. LoL

A good polace to start would be to write your own "Big Book of Excuses" All shooters have one of these, some are thicker than others ( The book, not the shooter ) Some standard excuses for poor shots "Must have hit a gnat on the way to target" or "Iv`e got stale air in me gun" ( don`t work with springers ) to the highly inventive "that`s out of range that is" For my own use I have "just wait till iv`e had me Brain Surgery" and "I shoot with a gun called a Prophet, it`s only accurate when facing East" I`m sure you get the idea

On the excuses front, I like to use, "Has someone been messing about with this scope?!". Insert "...trigger", "...sight", "...grip" as required. Usually met with a resounding chorus of, "No, of course not!" or the classic, "Wasn't me!".
I'm going to have to come up with some new excuses now though as the kids are wise to that one. I could start blaming age but that usually results in more ridicule than sympathy in the Kelly household! With an ever-expanding waistline, I could claim that I'm still getting accustomed to the effects of a varying weight distribution...

I ordered the book 2 weeks ago from www.nsrashop.co.uk and haven't heard anything from them since the order confirmation. Are they legit?

Yes they are. They're also a tad useless. Mine took an age to arrive as well.

My order was cancelled because they do not have enough stock to fulfill it. Would anyone with a copy be willing to sell it? Or could I borrow yours and scan it?

Of course.
I'll bring it in next time I'm at Denwood.
Whenever that is.
