The mechanics of the Website are pretty user-friendly - there's no need for hyper geeky programming/coding or that sort of thing.

A dead FB page reaches more people than this forum? I should maybe add that this forum costs nothing apart from my time which I offer freely. fb has 2.85 billion users. This forum has 70 users( 1/3 of whom haven't been heard of for more than a year) so,yes, fb definitely reaches more people than this forum unless my simple arithmetic is not up to scratch

That the GARC FB page once had 2.85 billion users is truly astounding - I didn't know the Club had that many members!
It also stuns me that something so vast and popular could wither and die like it has.
Henceforth, I am beaten into submission by your logic and arithmetic with which I cannot argue so will gracefully withdraw from further debate with you on that subject.

I remember many moons ago GARC were asked by some local newspaper if they could do an article on our activities, we all thought that publicity might be good, the resulting piece had us all down as blood thirsty cat shooting bunny wabbit hating nutters, cos thats what sells papers. Be VERY carefull about what is posted on Basefook, it WILL be monitored, most certainly by the people who grudginly issue your Air weapons (How I hate that description)Certificate, and probably by any prospective Employer. I have to use Facebook as a means of communicating with a closed group but I am very carefull what I post.

Wow, thats amazing, that its dead I mean, I got mates (yes thats a surprise) who still have a Facebook presence even though they died Ten years ago, somebody must av posted a picture of a rifle an suggested it might be for sale, that would have killed our Facebook page, bin done before. |
