Is there an appetite for a 10m rifle comp, run under exactly the same rules as the Pistoleros?
Edit: Hey! whacky thought; run indoor and outdoor, at Denwood and Waulkmill. It would we good to have a comp across both venues and both Denwood ranges. It would be good training for the HFT standing shots. It would be +/- 6ftlb rifles indoors and max 12ftlb outdoors using same paper targets.

"Is there an appetite for a 10m rifle comp, run under exactly the same rules as the Pistoleros?" Yes there is. Trouble is, how many people would take part? You can count me in. Les (who also has a 10m rifle) might have a go and, presumably because you raised the subject, yourself. That's three. A start, I suppose. If a few more people chuck their names into the hat then I'll happily organise and run such a comp at the Denwood end. Just don't expect me to go to Waulkmill and get my Hush Puppies muddy though, I'll leave the sploshing about in the sludge to others. I envisage similar rules as the Pistol comps (standing and unsupported, 10 rounds, 10 shots per round on two cards) with no restrictions on sights but using our old Bisley targets - of which we still have a good amount - on the five target "10m rifle" side. Let's have some interest and see if it takes off.
