Oh well after all that excitement its back to the Heanel V Junior, and a few photos after the clean up of that dam rust before after with sights fitted Well the coke did its trick and removed/ soften the dirt that prove well stuck in the nooks and caches and cleared out the pitted areas. A fair bit of anti rust treatment and a light coat of cold blueing. Remember I am not doing a full restore, that would take to long, my aim is to repair and stop and further damage accruing. Pint time again, more to come later

Before After _ Well I could have fitted a BSA foresight, but went for a sight from an old Chinese B2, it fitted into place nice and tight with no mods required. I like the sight protector being in place. Having damage pre WW2 BSA sights when taking out and putting into a gun bag, they tend to hook on the inside padding, so we will give it a go.

Both the sights look as if they should be there. Is the spring good?

No rush, Chris - just take your time and do your usual excellent work on it.
BUT MAKE SURE IT'S READY FOR OUR NEXT DENWOOD SHOOT!
